I have used Lightroom and Photoshop to edit some of my photos.

For this photo, I brought up the 'Shadows' button only slightly so that there are less shadows on the rocks because in the original photo they are rather darker and they are harder to tell what they are. I have also increased the clarity, making the photo very sharp and bright.
In this photo I have again brought up the clarity to make it look brighter and sharper. I have brought up the shadows only a small amount so that the bird looks more like a silhouette. I did have an edit that I had cropped out the bottom so that the bottom right corner was cut out however I didn't like it because it made the photo smaller.

For this photo, I increased the shadows because the original photo was quite dark and by increasing the clarity the viewer is able to see more of the spraying of the water along with all the stones that have been thrown up from the force of the water hitting the rock.
In the original version of the photography a lot of it was rather dark, so I have bought up the shadows to +29 and the highlights level to +60 making the photo brighter. To make it look sharp, I increased the clarity level to +100, and I also put up the saturation level to +100.

On my 'Main Project' page, I said that when I came to edit this photo, I would crop out the pillars, which is exactly what I've done. I also increased the vibrance to +70 and the saturation to -33, giving my photo a good balance. I also increased the shadows by only 5%, giving the boat a bit more life to it, but I increased the highlights a lot because the original photo was quite dark and so I wanted to make it brighter.

For this photo of the sunset, I increased the vibrance because I wanted the orange in the sky to be bright and bold, and the main focus in the photo. I also changed the amount of highlights and shadows, because I thought in the original photo, the foreground was too dark.

This was my first edit of this photo. Although I was happy with the colouring in this picture, I didn't like how you could still see the sign.
So I decided to cut it out, and at the same time, I thought there was a bit too much of the grass and stones, so I cut some of that out too. My final edit is on the left.
The first thing I did to this photo, was cut off the bottom to get rid of the stones in the left corner. I bright up the shadows level because I wanted to get the pillars in the sea and the kite surfer in the background to be very dark as this makes them stand out in the photo. I then decided to make the whole photo black and white.

For this photo, I just increased the vibrance to 100% to make the sky and the sea bright and sharp. I also changed the contrast amount. This made the sea darker and the sky brighter.

For this photo, I wanted to make a dramatic edit that was really noticeable. I used the toning curve to make the rocks a silhouette. I increased the vibrance to +100 and the clarity to +43. To make the sunset more visually dynamic I experimented with the hue. I minused both the orange (-98) and the yellow (-13) hues, to get my final edit below.
For this edit I used the toning curve to make the picture brighter. I also increased the vibrance but decreased the saturation. I wanted to bring up the brightness of the plant because in the original photo, it's dark.

In the photo, I have increased the shadows slightly to give the rocks a better overall look. I increased the clarity to make it look sharper. I increased the vibrance and the saturation as well to brighten up the photo.
